Google x The Atlantic
Dialogues
Three issues produced by Atlantic Re:think for Google. I served as Co-Managing Editor on the first two and Managing Editor on the third, working inside The Atlantic's creative studio to help shape, edit, and ship a sponsored-content series that read like journalism.
Atlantic Re:think, The Atlantic's in-house creative studio, partnered with Google on a series of editorial magazines exploring the questions AI raises for science, policy, work, and culture. The goal: create something that would sit comfortably next to The Atlantic's own journalism — thoughtful, reported, beautifully designed, and worth keeping.
I worked with the Atlantic Re:think editorial team across all three issues. Day to day, that meant:
Shaping story lineups and editing long-form Q&As, features, and sidebars
Coordinating writers, fact-checkers, designers, and client stakeholders
Holding a consistent editorial bar across contributors
Keeping each issue on schedule through multiple rounds of review
The work is The Atlantic's and Atlantic Re:think's—I was one editor in a larger team, contributing to a project bigger than any single contributor.
If you're a brand, foundation, or institution thinking about a long-form content program that reads like journalism, let's talk.
